South Dakota seems to be about 99.9% grass and .01% asphalt. This was very different than the corn fields of Wisconsin. The headwinds were strong. We had a tough time keep our speed up and the bikes drank up the gas. I started to wonder where the wind turbines were... Then I realized, we hadn't seen many people in the state that need electricity, so no turbines made sense.
